DELICATE…….

Hi girls…..  Today i am with the layout for MORE THAN WORDS CHALLENGE- DELICATE / FABRICS…..

I was waiting to use this photograph of my children…. she was 1 day old and my son was 13 months old.. This photo was taken by their passionate grandpa, my dad…..

 

 

 

 

When i saw this challenge – DELICATE….  i thought this is it….. What other picture can explain delicacy other than this 2 delicate souls which are introduced to each other…..

Also i was inspired from pastel pallette from MIXED MEDIA PLACE october challenge…..

I primed the canvas with Finnabair Artbasics WHITE GESSO. Added some texture  through TIMHOLTZ HARLEQUIN stencil and PRIMA ALPHA stencil.

I used LINDYS SPRAYS – ( pink and blue tones coz its a boy and a girl )

• COTTON CANDY PINK
• CHATEAU ROSE
• MAD HATTER MINT
• TIFFANYLOU BLUE for the background.

I used a few CHIPBOARDS from SCRAPINIEC including the lavender frame…. Coloured the chipboards with FINNABAIR ART ALCHEMY GREEN GOLD and VINTAGE ROSE. I also used SILKS ACRYLIC GLAZE –  VINTAGE MINT.

I used papers from PRIMA PAPER PAD  –GARDEN FABLE…. Used lots of laces , burlap , tulle , crochet , leaf skeleton and cheese cloth…. – FABRICS.

I love voluminous composition….. used lots of PRIMA flowers and some from my stash…. FIMNABAIR mechanicals…. some metal embellishnents…… resin flowers…..

Stamped around with ARCHIVAL INK JET BLACK and TIMHOLTZ DISTRESS INK – WALNUT STAIN….

Finished it with some micro beads…. enamel gems stickers.. .. Finnabair ART STONES….and a tulle bow…..

Here i am with this….. And obviously this is really close to my heart…. Hope you liked it….
