SPRING ……

Hi all…. one more canvas ….. yeah….I was inspired by the moodboard of MIXED MEDIA PLACE ….. and MIXED MEDIA AND ART….

I was also inspired by the moodboard from MIXED MEDIA AND ART….. the rusty look…. the swirl rings of snail…..

I primed the canvas with FINNABAIR BLACK GESSO. I applied Finnabair texture paste – GRAPHITE through REBECCAH BAER stencil and a butterfly stencil.

To add more interest i added Art alchemy FIRY RUBY WAX through TIMHOLTZ DOT FADE stencil using a stencil brush…. I loved this technique…..

 

 

I painted it with ….. I loved it. I had this gorgeous branch with bird chipboard from DUSTY ATTIC. I coloured it with FFinnabair artalchemy EMERALD GREEN and VINTAGE GOLD wax….

Now i added lots of metal flowers and leaves…. black gessoed it…. Coloured the flower part with LINDYS SPRAYS- BUCKET O BLOOD RED , BURNT UMBER and CANNA LILY BURNT ORANGE and FINNABAIR ART ALCHEMY METALLIQUE ROYAL RED and DARK VELVET….

 

 

Coloured the leaves with LINDYS SPRAYS – PONDEROSA PINE OLIVE and SEA MINT GREEN .

I used these swirly button inspired by both the moodboards….

Highlighted with Art aAlchemy waxes – FIRY RUBY ,VINTAGE GOLD and GREEN BROCADE…..

Added beads…..green moss……glitter …….And my canvas is done…. I love the way it turned out….Somer closer shots….
